The Advocate – November 6, 1985
Mother Teresa of Calcutta has added her voice to those requesting that Governor Thomas Kean sign a bill which would allow private dwellings in New Jersey to give shelter to unwed mothers and their infants.
The bill, passed unanimously by both houses of the New Jersey Legislature, has been on the Governor’s desk for more than a month now. He must act on it immediately after the Legislature resumes sessions on Nov. 14.
