“I fell the presence of the Lord in my house today,” Kathy DiFiore said when she learned she had won her battle to kep her Ramsey home open to unwed mothers and their babies.
Miss DiFiore said her eyes filled with tears when she was advised yesterday that Governor Kean had signed legislation permitting private homes to be used as charitable shelters such as the one she operates.
