When they travel to the nation’s capital Friday to be saluted by the Caring Institute for their efforts on behalf of others, three New Jerseians will be doing more than picking up another award.

They will be joining a small but prestigious group of humanitarians not only for helping those in need but also for serving as national role models. Mother Teresa and President Jimmy Carter are among the previous inductees into the Hall of Fame for Caring Americans.
