Every young woman who moves into our home has different life circumstances and needs. The following questions are commonly asked. Please take a moment and read through them; our goal is to help you feel comforted and welcome. If you have other questions not answered here, feel free to call us at (201) 818-9033.
Where is Several Sources located?
We are located in a safe neighborhood in Ramsey, NJ. We are close to medical facilities and public transportation.
Who can apply?
We welcome women at every stage of pregnancy, regardless of age, race, religion, color, social background, national origin or marital status. You do not need to be a New Jersey resident to live at Several Sources. We encourage you to seek our assistance as early in your pregnancy as possible so we can design a program to meet your specific needs.
How long can a person live there?
A resident can move in at any point during her pregnancy and remain for up to 1 year after her baby is born, providing she continues toward completion of program expectations. Women who successfully complete our maternity program, have a job and child care, may continue into our Special Families Program.
Is everything really free?
Yes! Housing and all services are provided free of charge.
Do you help women get items for their babies?
Yes. Residents are connected to community resources to help acquire ‘necessary’ items.
Will I be able to bring my cellphone?
Yes, as long as your phone is being used responsibly and not disrupting your personal growth or your housemates’ ability to rest.
