Tiffany was pregnant when she came to Ladies Rest in the later part of 2017. She was homeless and was staying at Missionaries of Charity. She changed her mind about having an abortion. She was accepted to stay with us but believed she could make it with her part time job in Newark.
DYFS took the baby to foster care after she was born because Tiffany could not maintain an apartment. Several Sources continued to assist every step of the way. We took all the initiatives to help her through the court mandated family training and visitations. Now she is able to bring her baby to Ladies Rest for a full day of quality time with the mother.
Finally the baby is coming home. Tiffany works full time at Dunkin Donuts and has a place to bring home Tatiana. Final Court hearing is in October. The baby is home in November.
This photo was taken during one of the visitations with the mother at Ladies Rest in Newark.
